若說〈海動作〉(2014)被機械裝置撐凸的螢幕影像是想觸摸眼前未知的、席捲而來的浪花,那麼〈海動作─時間〉(2016)即是進一步在被延長的時間之中試圖伸指撫摸、撩撥這彷若琴弦、彷若音波的靜謐藍海。
〈海動作─時間〉是一件藉由錄像裝置探討觸視的動作與時間關係的作品。影像中的靜謐微波推浪海面、間或遠方左右駛來的船隻,以及將螢幕表面撐凸且上下緩移的動力機械裝置,透過觀看身體與機器的動作將海動作的時間展現為機械、影像、螢幕運動所交織的內部時間。
If the moving convex point on the screen with image tried to touch that unknown sweeping sea wave in work Sea Move (2014), in the work Sea Move-Duration(2016), I made a further step attempted to use fingertips touching and stringing the violin-like sound wave-like quiet blue sea in the extended duration.
Sea Move-Duration is exploring the connection between the move of haptical visuality and time by the video setting. By the action of audience and machine, the duration of the movement in front of sea was extended, it show out an inner time combined with machine, image, and screen movement, by the quiet sea wave and ships came from both sides in the projected image, by the Lycra fabric screen with convex point supported by the motor device.
